Making home an extension of the classroom!

Child Prodigy Mom & Parental Involvement Expert,
Michelle Brown-Stafford...
When most parents settle for educational options of convenience...Michelle took the reins of her children’s education at a time when it mattered the most.
Teaching grades K through high school; composing her own curriculum and integrating college material where appropriate, both children soared to academic heights - with the youngest entering college as a regular student at age 13!
Parenting a traditional student, another who home schooled and coaching others either directly or through their parents, Michelle Brown-Stafford knows a thing or two about how to inspire any child into the flow of learning and she has been doing it for nearly 16 years!
The World Catches On...
Since news of the Stafford Family success became public, the media exposure (From CNN, ABC News, The Tyra Branks Show, even receiving calls from Oprah and Ellen, etc.) has been tremendous...paving the way for young college student, Stephen Stafford
(at the time a 13 year old sophomore), and Gifted-Spirit Founder Michelle Brown-Stafford to begin traveling the country...inspiring and coaching families in the ways of academic success.
"Not just for
the elite..."
But now Michelle Brown-Stafford is moving into the next phase of her intention! So many parents from various socio-economic backgrounds have reached out wanting assistance in varying degrees so Michelle Brown-Stafford has responded with a national campaign to help parents in different phases of their child's educational journey.
The primary focus of the Campaign is to coach parents in ways to get their children into the flow of learning that will translate readily into the classroom. Featured will be the proven strategies and habits of mind that have propelled the Stafford children to the top of the academic echelon and are consistent with households who produce scholastic powerhouses.
But there is another scope of the project that favors the personal needs of the child. According to Michelle, "It is also my intention to equip parents with the skills/knowledge needed to move their child forward in academics when a child is a particularly fast learner or when dealing with a school who has less than adequate resources. It is my way, as someone who cares about the education of ALL children, to assist in the home/school partnership effort."
One project under the umbrella of "Parents as Partners", is being well-received. Entitled "Teaching a New Generation", it is a free national parental involvement workshop that teaches parents how to provide the needed resources to their children. The workshop is free for families and follow-up is encouraged through free membership here at Gifted-Spirit.com.
Although the flagship location will be in Atlanta, Georgia with workshops being held monthly, the Workshop will stop in the major cities of the United States before heading into Europe and the Caribbean Islands.
The Parents as Partners Campaign has something to offer all parents in different stages of their children’s educational development. Methods will be focused more specifically for families in diverse environments:
