I've been so fortunate to be able to work with such wonderful parents! Many of whom are like me in that they are willing to "step up" and provide for their children where schools at times fall short!

"Prodigy Mom"
As "Soccer Moms" expend a tremendous amount of energy transporting their kids to practice; sporting events and other related activities, Prodigy Mom, Michelle Brown-Stafford focuses her efforts on developing the academic potential of her kids and others!
From practical "teachable methods" in the home to securing elite resources such as Stanford University's Educational Program for Gifted Youth, Michelle has been researching, presenting and sharing parental involvement strategies for more than a decade...long before she began "driving her 11-year old son" to Morehouse College and attending her 16 year-old daughter's high school graduation!
Applying the entrepreneurial spirit to education, teaching methods and resources were constantly tweaked to fit the needs of the student (or "customer" in the world of business) which in Michelle's case were her children and the children she coached; always with the goal of moving the child forward...or closer to their potential.
Michelle became recognized as a national success story in education when she and her family sat down for an interview with CNN's Dr. Steve Perry.

Parental Involvement "Expert"
Michelle's formal background rooted in post-secondary education, human resources and business management (BBA; magna cum-laude) continues to serve her well as an experienced "Prodigy Mom & Parental Involvement Expert!"
And as such, Michelle teaches other parents how to become "experts" regarding their own children's potential!
As someone who never tires of efforts to assist families with academic empowerment, the parental involvement juggernaut has appeared before several parenting groups throughout the country including Morehouse College's Project Identity "Parent Lecture Series".
Co-hosting a radio segment entitled "Conscious Parenting" on Life Conversations Radio monthly; conducting free workshops for parents in Atlanta, Georgia at the local YMCA's as well as recording a series of coaching videos for parents offered through Gifted-Spirit.Com are just a few activities related to being a leading edge "Parental Involvement Expert".
Michelle's relationships with school principals, assistant principals, head masters, teachers, college deans, instructors and college presidents! This and her knack for incessant research on realizing "potential"...has also afforded her powerful insight into the successful habits that produce exceptional students and lovers of lifelong learning.
The Gifted-Spirit Founder's parent-to-parent coaching methods have attracted parents of diverse economic and racial backgrounds from several continents. In her free time, Michelle pens articles on "parenting gifted children"; "parental involvement for a new generation" and other parent-related topics.
Michelle thrives on the direct connection to parents that personal appearances, workshops and speaking engagements provide.
